William Wall

William Wall is the author of nine novels, six collections of poetry and three of short fiction. He was the first European winner of the Drue Heinz Prize for Literature in the USA and has won many other prizes and awards in several countries. His 2005 novel This Is The Country was longlisted for the man Booker Prize. His work has been translated into many languages and he translates from Italian. He holds a PhD in Creative Writing from University College Cork. He lives between his native Cork City and Camogli in Liguria, Italy.
